His days are filled with struggle to get a good film. Things become complicated when he meets Jessie (played by Amy) who comes from an orthodox Malayali family and falls in love with her. The story revolves around Sachin trying to figure out a solution to their relationship and Jessie trying to be just friends to avoid a family melodrama. |

Ekk Deewana Tha did poorly and failed to attain audience interest. The story was the typical India love story where the boy and girl love each other but the society becomes the villain. In this movie, the boy expresses his love openly but the girl remains confused or shows that she is confused because her parents would not be happy with the alliance. It takes a lot of effort to bring color into something which has already been shown on the big screen like a thousand times. Although the characters were good, the story lacked a proper story line and dialogues. It stretched on a bit too long specially the second half and the feelings of the actors were not conveyed properly to the audience who failed to keep up with the snail-pace of the movie. All in all, a disaster! |
